04 Jan American BioSciences Receives UL GMP Certification

American BioSciences is proud to announce that it has achieved UL GMP Certification. This means that our facility was audited by UL Registrar LLC using an accredited certification process to determine that our organization is found in conformance with audit standards known as GMPs, which stands for Good Manufacturing Practices.

GMP standards are guidelines that provide a system of processes, procedures and documentation to assure a product has the identity, strength, composition, quality and purity that appear on the product label. These GMP requirements are listed FD&C Act section 520(f).

The UL Registrar LLC GMP Certification Program enables manufacturers to become independently registered by UL to meet GMP requirements for the manufacture, packaging, holding and distribution of finished products, components, ingredients and/or raw materials, and helps companies who wish to demonstrate their commitment to public safety.
